Field of Work

After working for five years as commercial photographer Maren Riemann studied Biology in Germany (Freiburg). She completed her final thesis in Tsukuba (Japan) at the NIAS (National Institute for Agrobiological Sciences). Since 2006 she is working at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany as lecturer for Botany and as Degree Program Coordinator. In her botanical excursions she focuses to the region of Karlsruhe with its Rhine meadows and semi-dry grasslands and to the central and southern Alps.
